This lovespoon has 2 hearts incorporated into its design. 2 hearts represents the heart of the giver & to the receiver of the spoon!
The giving and receiving of lovespoons between lovers, friends and family is a mainly Welsh custom that dates back to at least the 17th century.  Loved ones  would carve a love spoon from one piece of wood using symbols of love such as hearts, celtic knotwork, bells and horseshoes to create a beautiful and lasting gift.
This necklace measures 10mm x 37mm (including chain-loop) and is set with a semi-precious gemstone - a deep red Faceted Garnet.
On a delicate curb chain of 18" - or request a different length if you prefer.
Packaged in a gift-box with a little gift-tag attached.
Comes with a silver cloth to polish your silver necklace with.
